In most cases these free web hosting companies do not have any customer service employees or a very very limited amount. Every second that your site is down you are losing a lot of money, too. Customer service can make or break a web hosting company.
Reason 5: These free hosting services are usually very slow, too. They do not offer very much bandwidth. I personally know how frustrating it is to be at a site that takes 5-10 minutes to load. They will only over you like 5-25 MB of bandwidth and that will simply not do the job.
All and all it is just not a good idea to take advantage of free web hosting. It can really hurt your business and people often just look the other way. I want to ask you a question; would you buy that new fancy laptop from a free hosting site? Chances are most people would not.
