The Western Australian Internet Association (Inc.) is an organisation that was formed in 1995 to represent the Internet community in Western Australia. At the time of formation, pending regulation and uncertainty meant that collaboration between different businesses in the Internet industry was a necessity.
Since then, WAIA has helped the industry to continue to grow in WA. Leading many vital debates and helping to set policy at different levels, WAIA has been instrumental in providing an innovative range of services to association members.
Why should you become a member
Besides supporting WAIA, your membership will enable you to attend our various industry events throughout the year and network with other professionals in the IT and Communications industry in WA and abroad.In 08/09, WAIA has hosted a number of general meetings, a book launch, WAIA annual christmas party and an industry breakfast with Peter Coroneos – and WAIA has a whole lot more planned for the rest of 2009!What does it cost?
Becoming an individual member of WAIA only costs you $20 per year, paid in advance.
