Windows 7 Upgrade Option

Microsoft announced the availability of Windows 7 Upgrade Option, a program under which people interested in buying a PC can get it today with Windows Vista and get the free Microsoft’s update to Windows 7.

Windows 7 Upgrade Option was specifically designed for PCs with Windows Vista pre-installed to qualify for an upgrade to an equivalent version of Windows 7. The versions that qualify under this program are:

• Windows Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Home Premium
• Windows Vista Business to Windows 7 Professional
• Windows Vista Ultimate to Windows 7 Ultimate

The update will be available to all customers around the world who buy a PC from today on under the above program. Microsoft advises consumers to inform the vendor of your PC on the conditions and terms of this program when purchasing your computer, because the details differ among manufacturers (and distributors).
